Losing your confidence with those extra pounds under your belly? Ready to commit yourself to a strict diet plan and intensive workout routine to lose weight? What if I told you that it is not necessary? All you need to do is find a balance between your food intake and your daily workout routine and your extra weight will magically go away.
Wake up earlier in the morning and start burning calories away by going for a jog in the park or around your neighbourhood. Have a small meal such as a healthy sandwich or fruits.
Doing a morning workout is a good idea because your body and mind is still fresh. You have just got a good night’s rest and are not tired from your daily routine yet. You’ll be able to burn more calories away as you can go further with your exercise routine. To make your workout livelier, you could bring along your portable music player or get a friend to do the workout with you.
Avoid having big meals. Instead, have more frequent meals but in a smaller portion. Why is that so? After having a big meal, your metabolism rate will spike up to digest the food that you just had. This will cause you to have craving for more food later. By having a more frequent but low portion meal, it will help to stabilise your metabolism rate. Having this eating habit will result in a natural weight loss for you.
Your meals should include vegetables. Yes, we hate vegetables, but they are good for us therefore we must eat them. To be fair, we should not force ourselves to have vegetables on every meal. One serving of vegetable per day should be fine. But if you like vegetables, then by all means include them in every meal. Having lean protein in your meals will keep your stomach full but not stuffed.
We all know that we need to pamper ourselves once in a while. Having a meal of deep fried chicken, extra cheese burger and meat lover’s pizza on your bad day certainly won’t kill you. Try not to have too many bad days as this type of diet is very fattening and will side track you from your weight loss plan.
If you are able to follow your diet tightly for a few weeks, your body will eventually get adapted to the new diet and you’ll be on track for weight loss. You will be taking less calories everyday and keep on burning the calories away in your morning workout routine. You’ll get the shape you always wanted to have, feel healthier and could bring yourself more confidently.
